My Calling

January, 1994 - My pastor prayed for my businesses; by evening the Father had given me The Path Thru The Cross.  He showed me how scriptures from Genesis to Revelation fit together with quilts as a way of sharing my testimony.

May, 2004 - There was an ad in the Godly Business Woman's magazine for a Christian Business Show in West Palm Beach Florida. I went and found that the use of flags for praise and worship was thriving. Thus started another direction for the ministry.

September, 2004 - I attended back to back Christian Dance conferences in Ohio and Alabama.  The second one, in Florence, AL was the turning point as two women took me to a fabric store, not to buy quilting fabric but flag material.

November, 2004 - I started making flags for myself, others in the church and then to the outer ends of the earth.

2005-2009 - The marketplace ministry for flags began, as did the teaching.  Opportunities continued to open up.  I attended many conferences, took the Eagles International Training Institue for Christian Dance, made flags.

August 2009 - Dr. Pamela Hardy, mentor of EITI asked me to begin the Eagles Internaional Flag Institute, a one year mentoring program.  First graduating class was October 2010, when a new class began.  Visit www.eaglesiti.org for more information.

Present to Future - I am open to all God has and is calling me to do for His Kingdom here on earth.

My first quilting book, The Path Less Traveled, Variations on the Drunkard's Path, 1991, was God-inspired.  Two additional volumes followed, expanding on the theme, leading to a new career path which includes teaching, speaking and designing.

My experience as a flag girl at Pasadena Junior College in California (many decades ago) has been resurrected to bring honor and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ thru praise, worship, teaching and using my hands to make flags.
